Breaking: WB's Alan Horn to issue statement to 'Potter' fans on 'Prince' delay Alan Horn, president of Warner Bros., will be issuing a statement directly to fans responding to criticism of the company's decision to delay the release of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" until next July. Hi-res 'Half-Blood Prince' pics from EW Warner Bros. has sent us copies of the two pictures from "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" that appeared in this week's issue of "Entertainment Weekly." More 'Prince' photos hit the web Well they just keep coming. To add to our previous news posts on new images from the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" movie an additional four new ones featuring Ron and Lavender, Harry and Ginny, Bellatrix and Harry and Dumbledore have appeared online. Five new images from 'Half-Blood Prince' While we all bemoan the fact that it will be many months before we see "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" on the big screen, five new images from the movie have appeared online. Update: 'Half-Blood Prince' release moved to July 17, 2009 Warner Bros. has just announced that the release date for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" has been pushed back and will be released on July 17, 2009 instead of this coming November. Update: IMAX has issued a statement regarding the change, and the Associated Press scored an additional quote from studio head Alan Horn. Review & video of 'Half-Blood Prince' video game A Nintendo DS review of the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" video game as well as a video are now online. The interview touches on the games, features and once again Quidditch. The video shows Hogwarts grounds and school, Quidditch, dueling and potions class. Update: 'EW' includes 'Half-Blood Prince' in '20 Fall Movies We Can't Wait to See' list With the fall fast approaching "Entertainment Weekly" have published their '20 Fall Movies We Can't Wait to See' and have included the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" movie. Update: We now have scans of the "Harry Potter" edition of the magazine, which is on newsstands Friday. College-aged 'Potter' fans needed for FSU survey "Desperately seeking Harry Potter readers 18 to 24 years old!" So begins a plea for volunteers to take part in a study seeking to find the reasons why kids who grew up with the book series really read them in the first place (not why adults think they did). 'Half-Blood Prince' release dates The official British web site for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" has been updated with the release dates for the movie. Release dates range from November 19th in Egypt and Belgium to December 19th in Turkey. 'Equus' to begin rehearsals on Friday in NYC Broadway rehearsals for "Equus" staring Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths from the "Harry Potter" movies, are set to begin on Friday, August 8.
