On this site, you will find information on the books and films, JK Rowling and other actors and people from the movies. We’re also a news base for articles relating to Harry Potter, so we hope to be in your top 3 virtual daily prophets!

Also, we have an ‘Other Books’ section, where we will regularly post news and hold information about other fantasy and action novels. If you’re a fantasy fan but hate Harry Potter (which you shouldn't), when you click on to MuggleMix every now and then, just shut your eyes and scroll down. After doing this a few times, you should have memorized where the Other Books section is located.

The History of MuggleMix.com

We’re based in Melbourne, Australia. We admit, MuggleNet.com inspired us (please don’t sue us for copyright infringement, though!) MuggleMix was thought of by my friend and I one rainy day at school, when we decided that we both should take our Potter obsessions one step further. So it occurred to me (not my friend), why not create a Harry Potter fan site? We decided it was a brilliant idea. Now here we are. In case you wondered about the name MuggleMix: We decided on ‘Muggle,’ because we believed that most of our visitors wouldn’t have a trace of magical power on them. We got ‘Mix’ from the amount of stuff this website will hold, be both Harry Potter information and news, and the amount we will display with other books. To be deadly honest with you, we were going to call this site DobbysSock.com, but by a mere 2 to 1 vote, MuggleMix was victorious.

Our Passion for Potter

We love everything about the Harry Potter world! And we here at MuggleMix think it’s great that all of us have been a part of it since it’s begun. It’s been the fastest selling series success in history, and we have been there to see it unfold. We think J.K. Rowling rocks. She’s our idol, our hero, and of course our favourite author. And most of all, Jo is a clear example that one small idea can lead onto something huge.

How Harry Potter has changed my life:  I first  read Harry Potter in 2003, I think.  Of course, I really liked it, but I wasn't quite so into it then.  Then I gradually grew more and more interested in Harry Potter over the past few years and Tim introduced me to Harry Potter fansites and library-located Harry Potter trivia quizzes.  And now I have started a Harry Potter fansite!
Hogwarts House: I'd like to think that I could go in Gryffindor, but I think I'm probably somewhere in between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, probably leaning towards the Ravenclaw side.  So Ravenclaw.
Favourite food: Caramel slice - sugar with sugar on top!
Other:  Nothing much really that you'd be interested in.  I really like maths though, if that interests you. My favourite area is any combination of fractions, factorizations and algebra.  My favourite Hogwarts subjects would be Arithmancy, Charms and Potions.
Biggest Harry Potter Dream: To receive a fansite award from J.K. Rowling, however I suppose an invitation from Warner Brothers to a Harry Potter movie premiere would be good enough.
